Arnoldi's Cafe

Timeless Traditions and Italian Charm

For nearly 90 years, Arnoldi's Cafe has been a cherished local favorite, celebrated for its classic Italian fare, Bocce ball courts and welcoming old-school Italian ambiance.

A FAMILY LEGACY
Established in 1937 by the Arnoldi family, Arnoldi's Cafe has been a beloved part of Santa Barbara's dining history for generations. In 2002, the Peri, Castagnola and Nonn families took the reins, carefully preserving the cafe's traditions for over two decades. After co-owner David Peri's passing, Arnoldi's reopened in 2024 under the ownership of Sara Skrinski, Peri's daughter, who proudly continues the restaurant's rich legacy.

TIMELESS ITALIAN VIBES
Step inside the historic stone building to experience a nostalgic slice of La Dolce Vita. With Frank Sinatra serenading in the background, the clink of wine glasses and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, Arnoldi's makes everyone feel like part of the Italian family.

ITALIAN FLAVORS AND PASTIMES
Guests return again and again for such standout dishes as the Gnocchi Tricolore, an Italian flag-inspired combination of pomodoro, gorgonzola and pesto, and the always delicious Lasagne Alla Bolognese. Adding a touch of friendly competition to the dining experience are the restaurant’s treasured Bocce ball courts—some of the oldest in California.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS
Arnoldi's is the perfect spot for group dinners and special events for 2 - 175 people. Reserve the Lake Como Room, featuring a hand-drawn 1959 mural honoring the Arnoldi family's heritage, or host a gathering in the expansive Garden area, perfect for larger celebrations like weddings and graduations.
