Just a few blocks from the waterfront, The Enterprise Fish Company occupies a century-old brick building originally home to an industrial linen service for seaside hotels. The interior is lively and nautical with Douglas fir floors, soaring ceilings, and glassed cupola. Sweeping arches facing State Street were added after much of the building crumbled during the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake. The Enterprise Fish Company is one of Santa Barbara’s favorite seafood restaurants. They serve the freshest seafood available, gently grilled over mesquite wood charcoal. The authentic oyster bar serves delicious shellfish appetizers, as well as a choice selection of wine and beer. The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable suitable for a casual meal or a special occasion.
