Arts and Letters Cafe

Arts and Letters Cafe, 4.0 out of 5 based on 4 ratings

Tucked behind Sullivan Goss Art Gallery right off of State Street and across from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Arts and Letters Café is an intimate restaurant nestled amongst paintings. There is a beautiful heated courtyard hidden behind the gallery as well as a dining room, which displays art of many local and national masters, such as Lockwood deForest and Hank Pitcher. Serving delicious Californian cuisine that is wonderfully prepared with an emphasis on using local and fresh ingredients from farmers, ranchers and local suppliers.

Lovely afternoon

Enjoyed a delightful lunch with my girlfriends at Arts & Letters Cafe. The place is wonderfully private and you feel as if you are in a different city while here. The food was great as always and the service was perfect. Can't wait for the weather to get warmer so we can have dinner here.

Very enjoyable

Last night my wife and I and out of town guests enjoyed a very nice dinner and evening with our friends. Everything was very good, food, service and decor. We love to support this restaurant for many reasons one being that they also own Sullivan Goss art gallery, which shows some of the best art in town. It is always a lively conversation piece to view the art and discuss it over dinner. This had lead to many unexpected conversations and is always entertaining. Keep up the great work!
