Works of art, a feast for the eyes! One could go on and on about the outrageous cakes that Robyn Van Tuyl creates, but when you learn that she is completely self taught, never worked in a bakery, never went to pastry school, that is when you start to marvel. Robyn loves to bake. She started as a teenager and bought every baking book she could find, and did lots of experimenting. In 2003, her hobby turned professional, after she created a birthday cake for a close friend at a huge party. Next step, business cards. She has been featured in Brides magazine twice in their “Most Beautiful Cakes in America” photo editorial. All her baking is done from scratch, using her own recipes, all butter, no shortening or preservatives.
