On November 7th, 2013 after arriving home in Carpinteria early for a typical workday, Beau Lawrence announced to his wife Yasmin (who was six months pregnant with their second child at the time), “Sweetie, I just quit my job, and this piece of fabric is our future.” Every brand has a story, and this is how local Men's Lifestyle brand, Ace Rivington, got its start.

ARA Collection

ARA Collection is known worldwide for its beautiful, hand-hewn 24k gold jewelry. Stunning adornments for the neck, ears, wrists, and fingers are forged using molded coins, sparkling diamonds in a rainbow of colors, oxidized silver mixed with yellow gold, and an array of brilliant gemstones and other mineral forms collected from all around the world.

Bottlest is a is one-of-a-kind destination offering perhaps the most unique entertainment experience in the Santa Ynez Valley. The Buellton complex houses Santa Barbara County’s largest winery, a critically acclaimed restaurant with modern farm-to-table fare, and a full bar with live music every weekend night.

Ca Dario

Ca’ Dario chef-owner Dario Furlati jokes that if he changed his menu, he might get in trouble with his customers. “They come in for certain favorite dishes,” he says, some of which he’s been serving since the restaurant opened in 1997. Of course, who can blame the chef’s regulars for holding him hostage to his own cooking?

For California natives Diana Dolan and Christie Boyd, nature is always the muse. When the two opened Porch in 2008 they wanted to share their common love of beauty and create a place where the local community could gather and be inspired. And after 9.5 years in business, it's apparent their connection to the community is as vital as the merchandise they sell.

 

Reed Interiors and Design

The Reed Interiors team assisted a local Santa Barbara customer designing, creating and installing their dream kitchen and floor. It was imperative to the customer that the kitchen be aesthetically stunning and functional at the same time. Clean lines and open spaces were essential to create the desired modern look, yet still maintaining a warmth for comfortable family cookingand casual gatherings.

Santo Mezcal

Santo Mezcal brings a welcome infusion of first-rate, authentic regional Mexican food to lower State Street. Located next to the Indigo Hotel, on the edge of the Funk Zone, the newest addition to the Los Agaves family of restaurants is a bit more upscale than its siblings, with table service, a modern interior and a full bar fronting a wall of mezcals and tequilas.

Tre Lune

Montecito residents treat Tre Lune Ristorante & Bar like a second home, dining there several times a week. Many visitors do the same, becoming short-term regulars. To say that ZFolio has come a long way since its humble beginnings would be a bit of an understatement. What started in 2003 as a suitcase filled with optical crystal from owner Zdena Jiroutova’s native Czech Republic, has evolved to include two thriving retail gallery locations
